It's Been One Of Those Daze....

my 7-year old grand-daughter (who has been up since before the sun) told me that she did not like it here (we are at home, she's in her own bed) that she did not want to be here she wanted to go some place else. So....it's because I have put my foot down and she is to go to sleep. Before I made another comment or spoke sharply, I just started reading and one of the moments that popped into my head was the Potter's House sermon yesterday (Bishop Jakes) which was Psalm 8:2. It's about praise - but hey the moment needed anything. So, I am putting it here, because by the time I have read it and before I really even tried to examine the verses, she was asleep.

Hallelujah!

Psalm 8

1O LORD, our Lord, how excellent is thy name in all the earth! who hast set thy glory above the heavens.
2Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings hast thou ordained strength because of thine enemies, that thou mightest still the enemy and the avenger.
3When I consider thy heavens, the work of thy fingers, the moon and the stars, which thou hast ordained;
4What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him?
5For thou hast made him a little lower than the angels, and hast crowned him with glory and honour.
6Thou madest him to have dominion over the works of thy hands; thou hast put all things under his feet:
7All sheep and oxen, yea, and the beasts of the field;
8The fowl of the air, and the fish of the sea, and whatsoever passeth through the paths of the seas.
9O LORD our Lord, how excellent is thy name in all the earth!

Oh My

Thought about posting but just didn't get to it. Usually, what happens to a lot of things I would like to do. Peace and quiet seems to have vanished for awhile. Guess that is why it is such a treasure to me when it happens.

Count down to school days ...It will be nice for the kids to be returning, more activity for me, like I need more but that is the journey.

I am doing a bit of a career enhancement/change. My tuition is still a mystery - that is the ability to pay for it. I am keeping a positive frame of mind that it will. I am a CNA/CHHA but I am doing a Medical Assistant program which will change my scope of practice. My hopes and prayers are that the MA program will lead me into phlebotomy which is what I think I really want to do. I will find out once I do my MA program.

Well, already two rowdy children up.

Oh, yesterday, did two-mile walk with dogs. Sore this morning, but it's all good. Need to either walk today or do some other form of exercise. Need to shape up this body as well as my mind!

Doing this for me and my babies.....

Till another day,
